Event types - Events with S&C participation

On June 27, the first Sino-German Sustainability Summit took place in Beijing. The objective was to further the cooperation between actors in China and Germany in order to reach the sustainable development goals (SDGs). More than 200 representatives from politics, business, the capital market and civil society attended the conference. Insights, experience and best practice examples were presented and discussed in lectures, panel discussions and workshops. The summit was organized by TÜV Rheinland in partnership with S&C.

In cooperation with Birgit Riess of the Bertelsmann Foundation, Joachim Schlange presented a concept for an internet portal to show CR risks in supply chains.

The Sedex Annual General Meeting in London included a panel discussion on “Collaborating for Change”. Andreas Zamostny was a member of this expert panel.

Joachim Schlange presented the topic of "Consumer’s Sustainability Consciousness“ as part of the 6th International Conference on Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

On behalf of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the National Chicken Councils, and the National Turkey Federation, professor Todd Cort, partner of S&C, moderated and organized a two-day sustainability workshop in Atlanta, GA. S&C’s Marina Dirks provided additional insight.

Joachim Schlange gave a talk on materiality analyses and strategy development for sustainability at the Sustainability Summit of the U.S. Vinyl Institute in Washington D.C.

Andreas Zamostny presented insights on C(S)R management and reporting (with a focus on implementing new laws and applying reporting standards) during a meeting with the CSR expert group associated with  “IG exact”.
