Congratulations to TUI Cruises on the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report

Once again, S&Z had the pleasure of supporting TUI Cruises in the preparation of its sustainability report! We continue to be impressed by the efforts of the Hamburg-based company, including its two brands Mein Schiff® and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, to shape the cruise industry for a more sustainable tomorrow and to realize net-zero cruise operations by 2050.

We are delighted that S&Z, together with Carlsberg & Richter GmbH and AD&D Werbeagentur GmbH, was able to support the report preparation for the second year in a row. Thank you very much for the cooperation!

S&Z Managing Partner Joachim Schlange retires

Joachim Schlange, Co-founder and Managing Director of S&Z, has retired after more than 17 years with the company. Mr. Schlange founded the firm in the fall of 2006 together with Andreas Zamostny and Jakobine Sauerbruch (who left the company in 2009). Back then, the term “sustainability” was still a foreign concept for many. With his consulting expertise and extensive network, Joachim Schlange quickly helped to make S&Z one of the most renowned names in sustainability consulting in Germany, the U.S. and internationally.

Through more than 740 projects worldwide, S&Z has advanced sustainability management and reporting for over 220 clients across Germany, Europe, and the U.S.

We would like to thank Joachim for his contributions and wish him all the best for the beautiful things that life has to offer besides consulting. We will develop S&Z further and ensure that the company remains a leader in sustainability consulting in the future. Joachim will continue to contribute his expertise to the company and work as a Senior Advisor on select projects.
