The jury of Capital Finance International (CFI.co), an international business and finance journal in London, honored Schlange & Co. GmbH with the Best CSR & Sustainability Consultancy (Europe) award this year.
In the judges’ report, CFI.co noted, “The consultancy champions the cause of sustainability by challenging traditional approaches and laying the groundwork for paradigm shifts.” The judges also praised the systematic consulting approach, using proven methods to deliver the highest level of quality and client service and the refusal to engage in greenwashing.
Through the CFI.co Sustainability Awards, the journal recognizes companies worldwide that are leading the way in solving sustainability challenges, among others. The CFI.co award selection panel is based on a range of criteria such as local relevance, innovation or socio-economic impact.
S&Z in collaboration with Yale University, Center for Business and the Environment, has developed and managed a worldwide survey on sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The survey is financed by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety as part of the support program “Export Initiative for Environmental Technologies”.
Approx. 27,000 people from 174 countries participated. The results show that the SDGs are barely known – also among business representatives.
